Right to Housing Alliance is proud to be participating in this year’s Project Homeless Connect event, hosted by United Way of Central Maryland. More info will be coming closer to the date.
“Project Homeless Connect is a one-day resource fair that brings together more than a hundred service providers to provide on-site services to the homeless. Homeless and at-risk participants can see a doctor, get a haircut, build a resume, receive legal advice, get a photo ID, and much more. One of the things that make Project Homeless Connect unique is that all participants are paired with a volunteer guide who travels with them throughout the event, helps them access services, hears their story, and shares the experience of the day with them. Because we expect more than a thousand homeless individuals and families, we will need more than a thousand volunteer guides. Please sign up today to volunteer by visiting us online at: www.uwcm.org/phc/volunteer.
